TPM Train the Trainer courses

Our next Train the Trainer courses will commence with:

Group 10 started in October and Group 11 November 2006 NVQ level4 Business Improvement Techniques the company's involved so far are:

We are also currently running an in-house Train the Trainer course for Canyon Europe.

In May 2002 Quality Improvement Network Ltd. began a TPM training programme for individuals from selected companies to support the Invest Northern Ireland Business Improvement Programme. The training for the first four groups is complete with NVQ Level 4 Process Pathway assessments underway and has proven to be highly successful so we would now like to offer further companies the opportunity to benefit from the training.

The training, which is delivered by Alan Welshman and colleagues from Quality Improvement Network (QIN), uses a structured, hands-on approach to introducing and managing a TPM programme. Wherever possible, training will take place at participating companies, thereby allowing participants to see the training applied in a workplace environment. The training also provides an excellent opportunity for participants to network with counterparts in other companies.

The training is aimed primarily at company staff who are directly involved in implementing their company's TPM/Business Improvement activity, i.e. key personnel who will be directly involved. The course has been designed to allow for various employees attending specific modules with the aim of strengthening in-house capabilities.

The cost of the training can be included in your company CDP if in Northern Ireland or budgeted seperately if outside of NI. During and following successful completion of the course, which lasts 12 days over a ten- twelve month period, participants will be assessed for an NVQ Level 4 in Business Improvement Techniques, Process Pathway. This is a prestigious qualification, both for the individual and the company, and successful participants would be part of a very select group of individuals in Northern Ireland to have gained the qualification. The training breaks down as follows:
