Introduction

The GMPS Software System provides a comprehensive method for small to medium sized manufacturing companies to process a customer order from quotation stage through the entire manufacturing process. This provides accurate pricing, raw material stock control, job scheduling and resource management. Results from the data collected during this process allow analysis of company and staff performance and can be used to identify and correct problems which otherwise may be overlooked.

Overview

A typical process flow for the GMPS Software System in a small to medium sized manufacturing company is shown to the right.

The GMPS Monitoring Software is installed on computers located at appropriate locations on the factory floor. A touch-screen computer rated to IP65 is recommended for most manufacturing environments. These computers allow the system to interact with Operations staff for scheduling, progress data and quality information.

The GMPS Scheduling/Analysis software is generally accessed by Sales/Marketing, Supervisory and Management staff. Sales/Marketing staff can create quotations for customers, place orders into the system, check on order progress and analyse historical order information. Supervisory staff can alter resource/process flow details, manipulate the production schedule, analyse quality information and check overall or individual operator performance. Management staff can easily analyse overall company performance and identify key areas where their attention is required.

The above packages are developed to suit the customers needs and they are fully integratable with Sage, Microsoft etc
