The 'hands on' approach from QIN BIT Ltd helped Genesis Breads create a structure for Business Improvement. We feel that the change management methods used within the TPM principles have a more direct & positive effect on employees than just training room lectures. Employees at Genesis Breads bought into many of the changes and improvements introduced through teamwork & greater involvement in each project. Each team took ownership of the improvements and therefore sustained the change. Methods used like the 5 'S' Theory, Problem Solving, Brainstorming and Set-Up Reduction Training meant that it was the people involved in the every day processes who eventually embraced and delivered the improvements while facilitated by myself as the company's BIA.

SCA Packaging, Warrenpoint have worked with QIN BIT Ltd over these last several years. In my experience as a Business Improvement Agent I have found QIN both professional in their dealings with myself and knowledgeable in their approach to Business Improvement Tools and Techniques.
I have worked closely with Alan Welshman and found his hands on approach and practical knowledge in relation to TPM implementation of a very high standard. His workshops and general training materials are always of the highest quality and I can say without contradiction we may not have attained the successes to date without Alan's guidance and input.

Again your delivery of the whole
TPM subject was flawless and filled with interesting stories, which broke
up what can sometimes be a fairly dry subject, maintaining the interest
of the delegates throughout the course.

From the very start of the course I found Alan Welshman to be very professional and courteous to all of the attendees. His knowledge of the subject matter, and his own personal wealth of experience were apparent from day one, and were used to good effect to illustrate the various topics being covered. Alan has a unique style in his approach, and is obviously passionate about what he does. As the course progressed, unlike other consultants of whom I have had previous experience, he took a more personal interest in the success of all of the participants, actively encouraging them to learn from the examples and tools presented, and from their own individual experiences. Alan is also not afraid to “get his hands dirty”, and is keen to be involved in the practical application of TPM with each candidate's facility. Through the TPM audits Alan continues to provide support for the TPM projects, further increasing their chances of success. In short he did not just deliver information and walk away, but has continued to support each project. I would certainly recommend QIN's TPM Train the Trainer course to any industry.

During March 2007 Boomer Industries engaged in a major extension to our site. This project entailed extensive changes and was made easier with the practical and hands-on help and advice given to us by QIN BIT Ltd. The vast experience that Alan Welshman has in Business Improvement Techniques has enabled us to benefit from lessons previously learnt and the assistance given from Sara Skelton was invaluable. As a result progress has been made with as little disruption to production as possible and we now have a structured plan that is ahead of target and all our teams are looking forward to expanding into the new site.
